Top DTRO 75-120bar 9405 Membrane Module Manufacture
Reverse osmosis (RO) systems use a unique structure called a Disc Tube Reverse Osmosis (DTRO) membrane, especially for high-efficiency desalination and water filtration. DTRO membranes employ a disc-and-tube construction in contrast to conventional spiral-wound or flat-sheet membranes. The efficiency and performance of the system are improved by this design.
function
DTRO (Disc Tube Reverse Osmosis) are capable of treating, recovering, and discharging high-concentration (high-salt, high-organic-content, etc.) feed solutions, as well as achieving wastewater concentration and volume reduction.
DTRO products are typically used in the concentration and volume reduction stage of high-salt, high-organic-content wastewater. Front-end treatment processes may include flocculation, sedimentation (flotation), sand filtration, ultrafiltration (softening), and reverse osmosis, while back-end treatment processes generally include evaporation.
features

Particular four advantages and characteristics
Anti-four highs
| High pressure resistance | 75~160 bar |
| High SDI resistance | (SDI pollution index) <15 |
| High COD resistance | 1000~20000 mg/L |
| High TDS resistance | 2000~80000 mg/L |
Strong anti-fouling resistant

Wide-channel design with raised dots
The guide plate features a unique raised dot and turbulence-optimized design. The open channel increases surface velocity (Reynolds coefficient ≥5000, 3-5 times that of spiral wound membrane), preventing solids from accumulating on the surface and providing a self-cleaning function. It effectively reduces concentration polarization.
The innovative octagonal structure design creates uneven stress points during high-pressure operation, which under the influence of water flow produces high-frequency vibrations. This causes the water to flow in a 'S' shape, continuously scrubbing the surface and avoiding scaling and pollutants.

Lower cost
- standardized, modular design that makes assembly and disassembly simple
- Excellent performance parameter recovery and ease of cleaning.
- Easy upkeep; individual modules are interchangeable and reusable.
- long life of a membrane module.

DTRO Disc Tube Reverse Osmosis Membrane - Structure

DTRO membrane module is formed by stacking reverse osmosis membrane sheets and flow guide plates together, securing them with a central tie rod and end plates, and then inserting them into a pressure-resistant membrane housing. Its main components include: pressure-bearing nuts, product water connectors, inlet and outlet water connectors, upper and lower pressure-bearing flanges, upper and lower water-passing flanges, membrane housing, central tie rod, flow guide plates, and membrane bags.
Integrated: The pressure-bearing flange and the water-passing flange are combined into one unit, balancing both pressure-bearing and flow-passing functions.
Corrosion Resistance: Constructed of duplex steel, improving overall corrosion resistance and facilitating assembly and disassembly.
High Pressure Resistance: The integrated water production jacket, serving as both the water production channel component and the pressure-bearing component, is made of duplex steel and is matched with the integrated water-passing flange.

DTRO Applications
DTRO disc tube reverse osmosis membranes are now widely used in the following fields:
treatment of landfill leachate wastewater, which is recognized in the industry as the most difficult to treat.
They have also gained market recognition in the fields
- circulating cooling water
- chemical wastewater
- coal chemical wastewater
- coking wastewater
- electroplating wastewater
- steel wastewater.
Plant process for landfill leachate wastewater treatment
The two-stage DTRO process for leachate is currently the preferred treatment process for most landfills and incinerators in the industry. It has stable product water quality and can achieve a leachate recovery rate of over 70%.

(reaching ≥85% recovery)
