Puri-guard® PVDF ultrafiltration membrane 2860 and 2880 especially producing for Dopunt UF SFP-2860/SFD-2860 and SFP-2880/SFD-2880 membrane replacement use, we have abundant experience and perfect performance match on replacement field.
They are PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) hollow fiber ultrafiltration membranes, with a nominal size of 0.03um -able to remove bacteria, viruses, colloids and other particulates, making them suitable for water treatment, pretreatment before RO, wastewater reuse, etc .
The PVDF ultrafiltration membrane are out-in flow design (feed flows outside of the hollow fibers, permeate is drawn inside) and use a U-PVC housing.

Why choose PVDF ultrafiltration membrane or What makes good performance?
- Strong, chemical -resistant PVDF hollow-fiber construction-very good chemical strength, long membrane life, stable under cleaning, and chemical resistance (e.g., chlorine, acids/ bases) if properly maintained.
- Hydrophilic fibers-easier to wet/clean, better flux stability and long-term performance.
- Good removal performance: 0.03um pore size -removal of bacteria, viruses, colloids, particulates-delivering good "protection "for downstream processes, or producing safe water directly.

01.What you should consider when choosing 2860 and 2880?
if it is the old system existed, just consider right size to do replacement;
it is the new system, think details as below
1)required flow rate /capacity of your treatment/ filtration system -for high flow, 2880 like more efficient per module;
2)Space /installation constraints-2860 is shorter length may be important if you have limited tank or containment height;
3)Pretreatment need * feed water quality -though PVDF ultrafiltration membranes is robust, very high solids or very turbid water might still need pretreatment depending on module specs.
4)Maintenance /cleaning-PVDF helps with chemical resistance and cleaning, but maintenance schedule and compatibility with cleaning chemicals matter.
5)Downstream requirements -if using for RO pretreatment, the quality of UF permeate (turbidity, SDI) must meet downstream specs.
